Faculty LibGuide: LibGuides

This guide is to show what library resources and services are available to faculty.

Assignment-Specific Guides

We can create a research guide for a particular assignment. Bring your syllabus and let's talk.. Together, we can create a unique learning opportunity  for your students.

What are LibGuides?

The Library's Online LibGuides are portals to the most relevant materials and tools for student research in their discipline.  Combining search tips with links to library tools, they serve both as an online handout and library instruction in a class.  Available 24/7 from the library's home page, LibGuides are there whenever students need them.

Browse the complete collection of LibGuides from the SWTJC LibGuides Home Page.

Discipline-Specific Guides

Discipline-specific guides help students find materials that are pertinent to particular fields, such as primary sources for history classes and peer-reviewed science journals for science classes.  Below are some examples.  Does your discipline have a general guide?  Let us know if you would like to help us create one for your discipline.
