STEM: STEM Summer Camp

Research guide for STEM.

Updates

Over 100 youth participated in the first SWTJC Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) Summer Camp. Youth members from the surrounding communities were introduced to the importance of a STEM education and engaged in hands-on STEM activities. Participants channeled their inner engineer to design, create, and improve upon their engineering constructs.

The summer camps were held on the Eagle Pass Campus on July 17 and 18; Del Rio Campus, July 19 and 20; Uvalde Campus, July 24 and 25, and on the Crystal City Campus on July 26 and 27.

Applications for the 2018 STEM Summer Camp will be made available in March 2018.

Information

Students will have the opportunity to explore "What is STEM?" and engage in hands-on STEM activities. Lunch will be provided to both participants and volunteers.
